The Amazing Grays
Amazing GraysSeniors…please be on the lookout for exciting adult activities at Enka Baptist. We are again known as the “Amazing Grays,” and we intend to “amaze.”

Some of the meanings found in the dictionary for amazing are: startlingly impressive, astonishing and surprising. Most of us probably don’t consider ourselves to even resemble these adjectives; however, how do you think God feels about us? The Bible presents growing old as a normal, natural part of life in this world. There is honor involved in the aging process, because growing old is normally accompanied by increased wisdom and experience. As people grow older and begin to feel the increasing impact of their mortality, they typically try to invest their waning resources in projects that to them seem to hold more promise of lasting meaning. In Proverbs 16:31 (NKJV) we read, “The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.”

C. S. Lewis wrote, “You are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream.” So, what are we waiting for? Get out there and amaze!
